Nieuwvliet

Nieuwvliet, also called Sinte Pier, is a small village part of the municipality of Sluis in Zeeland. The village originated around 1600 and is located 10 km from the Belgian border. The child-friendly nature of this historic seaside resort makes Nieuwvliet a popular place for families.

Nieuwvliet's beaches are open and located in the middle of the "Verdronken Zwarte Polder" nature reserve. The wide beaches are ideal for long beach walks. With low tide, the seawater spreads, creating small, shallow pools: a perfect place to splash into the water with the kids. Speaking of children, also pay a visit to Speelboederij Pierewiet!
